JUST FEW DAYS TO THE HUGE EVENT IN MILAN, THE ITALIAN SHORT MOVIE “OSCAR”
May is incoming as the Twelfth edition of MIFF Awards (in partnership with Film4Life) that will award Short Film categories with Milanese Oscar statuette, the Leonardo Da Vinci’s Horse. “It makes sense to award this Mini-Great-Films’ creators with the Horse” highlights Andrea Galante. Here the 2012 Nominations, that this year will have two days exclusively assigned. Saturday, May 12 to the Italian category, and Sunday 13 to the International categories.
One of most important documentary is “Girl Model” looks closely at the complex universe of modeling, with a different approach, beyond the glamour, highlighting the harsh reality of international agencies. A travel through Siberia, Japan and USA through the eyes of Ashley, an ambivalent talent scout and Nadya, a thirteen years old Siberian model, brought to Tokyo with the promise of a career in the fashion world.
