PROJECT “FILM4MEETING”: THE PROMOTION EVENING
“Curious of Cinema” was the slogan of our online film promotion magazine from the beginning. On top of the daily editorial work, our staff decided to plan a series of events dedicated to our mission, in order to promote a gradual development of our brand. This special evening called Film4Meeting serves as an introduction to the public, as well as a point of contact for other cinema related events.
These are events promoted with particular consideration for those realities that often did not attract the right attention of the media. We are talking of young talents in the movie industry as directors, actors and producers, who struggle to become known among the general audience, beyond that microcosm called “independent cinema” that has hard time to get an adequate interest.

Film 4 Meeting is in Roma again after one year of absence and the experience in New York. The fourth edition of the event dedicated to the network among young Italian people in cinema and the industry professionals, took place on Tuesday November 12th (7:00 pm) at “Casa Alice”, a space handled by “Alice nella città”, independent section of the Rome International Film Festival that hosted and sponsored the evening.
Film 4 meeting was created two years ago to satisfy the need for a practical result to the work done by Film 4 Life and to give space for new voices to be heard.
This web magazine is about promotion and communication related to the cinema and it is completely dedicated to the film industry and its independent section. In order to give voice to emerging artists and to promote creativity and talent, Film 4 Meeting joins Alice nella Città, that has been pursuing the same goal for 10 years. The evening-event, sponsored by the Councilor of Provincia di Roma Francesca Bagni Cipriani, intends to give the greatest exposure to some selected young cinema artists, who will present their recent works and will tell the audience about their artistic career and their professional experiences.
We achieved a great success of public yesterday, and as a director, in the name of the editorial staff to whom I am very grateful, I would like to thank all those who proved to support our project and especially those who appreciated and shared with us the experience as “Off-theatre” of Film 4 Meeting.
