THE FAMOUS ACTRESS TURNS IN 60 YEARS OLD AFTER A LONG CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD
In 86’ after “Nine ½ weeks “ she was crowned sexy icon of her generation but Kim Basinger doesn’t seem to be out to grow old. Before she became famous, she posed for Playboy, but since that picture taken in 1983 Kim Basinger, daughter of two musicians, has achieved so much until now when she is celebrating her 60 years old birthday.
She became the erotic dream of more than one generation thanks to “Nine ½ weeks”, star of Hollywood after the movie where she performed the most famous strip-tease in cinema, and she never left the film-making art where she played so many different characters: the alien wife of Dan Aykroyd in “My stepmother is an alien” in 1988, the journalist Vicky Vale in the first and highly appreciated movie on “Batman” in 1989, Lynn Bracken a prostitute identical to Veronica in “L.A. Confidential” in 1997.
The most recent movie where she played was “Third person” by Paul Haggis, presented in September at the Toronto International Film festival that will be released in spring 2014, but in January the actress will come back on Italian big screens with “Grudge Match” directed by Peter Segal, where she worked together with Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone.
It seems that Basinger, who recently turned 60 years old, is going to have a career still full of surprises.
