TERMINATO NELLO UTAH IN SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, L’EVENTO CHE PREMIA IL CINEMA INDIPENDENTE
Dal 19 al 29 gennaio si è tenuto il Sundance Film Festival 2017 presso Park City, nello Utah. La rassegna cinematografica dedicata al cinema indipendente si è conclusa domenica tra vincitori, vinti e sorprese. Chissà quali tra queste pellicole verranno distribuite in Italia? La maggior parte dei film in programma in quest’edizione, annunciato lo scorso novembre, affrontano le tematiche legate al cambiamento climatico e alla tutela ambientale. Tra i vincitori del Sundance Film Festival 2017, segnaliamo il Premio della Giuria per il miglior film drammatico è andato a I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore di Macon Blair, con protagonisti con Melanie Lynskey e Elijah Wood. Il premio per miglior documentario è andato invece a Dina di Antonio Santini e Dan Sickles. Segnaliamo inoltre The Yellow Birds, film è basata sull’omonimo romanzo del reduce di guerra Kevin Powers.
